This Art Series Hotel is a state of the art prefabricated modular solution.

Gary Wolff whilst Director at NRA was responsible for the design and delivery of this state of the art prefabricated modular hotel project. The Mercure Bendigo Schaller Hotel consisting of 128 rooms over 4 levels offers boutique accommodation in the heart of Bendigo in regional Victoria.

This prefabricated building was manufactured in Hickory’s Melbourne factory.  Originally designed to be located in Port Headland in Western Australia it was reconfigured and transported by road to Bendigo and installed on the site of the town’s former hospital in just 6 days.

The well-appointed queen, double and twin single suites showcase artworks by Mark Schaller, the hotels’ namesake artist, who was also commissioned to create an 8 metre high mosaic mural for the hotel’s exterior.
