REFURBISHMENT OF THIS HISTORIC MELBOURNE HOTLE TO BRING IT BACK TO ITS GLORIOUS BEST

iWolff Atelier has the privilege to work with BUILT as the Contractor on a D&C basis to deliver the refurbishment of this historic CBD Hotel. iWolff Atelier’s role has been to provide technical advice for construction of the project to ensure compliance to achieve the Building Permit and enable construction to occur seamlessly.

Located on Flinders Street overlooking the scenic Yarra River, Rendezvous Hotel Melbourne is one of Australia’s finest historic hotels. Built in 1913 as a Commercial Travellers Club, this meticulously restored hotel retains the elegant style of the early 1900s.

The recent refurbishment has been to update all the rooms throughout with a modern interpretation of period details whilst including updating to 21st Century for all the usual hotel room conveniences.

Public areas have also been refurbished and updated including the reception lobby and lounge together with the Straits Cafe and Bar.

Thus reinvigorating this historic building to become an active part of the Melbourne hotel scene.
