GRAPHITE FEATURES A BOLD AND STRONG EXTERIOR REFLECTING THE INNER CITY VERNACULAR.

iWolff Atelier was responsible for the Council modifications and selected detailing for delivery on site.  Gary whilst Director at NRA was responsible for the design the project through to Planning Permit.

Graphite in Fitzroy North features a bold and strong, yet timeless exterior.  Taking cues from the vibrant culture and the energetic and bespoke surrounding restaurant, café and boutique retail precinct, Graphite’s exterior reflects a carefully considered and proportional detail.  Textural darkened vertical blades evoke a classic sense of drama against the grey rendered palette.

The light rendered surrounds present themselves to the street gracefully with planted timber screens further softening the interface.  The upper levels darkened exterior, give the illusion of the building recessing beyond the softer colours of the base elements below. Comprising of 46 apartments over 5 levels and 2 basements levels, Graphite’s undefined rawness and simplicity  creates a sense of individuality within the residential apartment market.
