ARCHITECTURE & INTERIOR DESIGN
DESIGNED TO CREATE A SENSITIVE LEARNING EXPERIENCE WHICH INTEGRATES WITH ITS LUSCIOUS NATURAL ENVIRONMENT.
iWolff is responsible for the design and documentation of this boutique Early Learning Centre. This centre consists of 110 places for children ranging from 0 to 6 years of age.
This Childcare Centre will be set within a leafy natural Australian environment of Kelmscott.
This carefully crafted plan is designed as a joyful arrangement of spaces responding to the rhythmic and undulating nature of the site. Centred around a majestic gum tree the centre playfully folds its around in an articulated facade to focus on the tree and the outdoor play spaces.
The use of natural materials to integrate with the surrounding natural environment expresses the language of the native precinct. Undulating roof forms also delightfully play with the shape of the building.
The solution will create an expressive identifiable landmark within the local community.
